In the event that you may need to cancel an appointment with your doctor or nurse, we request a 24 hour notice period. This is so we can fill the allocated time slot with another patient that may require a doctor’s assistance. Failure to cancel your appointment may incur a DNA fee.
Patient do not attend (DNA) appointment fee
Patients who do not attend their scheduled doctor or nurse appointments will attract a DNA fee. At Castlegate Family Practice and Women’s Health Clinic, You will receive an SMS to confirm your appointment. Due to the high demand of bookings please give us 24 hours’ notice if you cannot attend your appointment. This gives a chance for the appointment to be offered to another patient
If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not attend your scheduled appointment, an $85 cancellation fee will apply.
Our cancellation policy is adhered to by all patients to ensure that sick patients are not kept waiting and appointments can be filled for our doctors and nurses.
