With over 35 years of clinical experience, Dr Gary Beckhurst is a trusted GP with a deep commitment to delivering high-quality, personalised care. He has additional qualifications in obstetrics, family planning, and sports medicine — and is widely known for his calm manner, warm nature, and down-to-earth approach with patients of all ages.
Dr Beckhurst has a particular interest in vasectomy services, men’s and women’s health, family planning (including IUD insertion and removal), hormone therapy, menopause management, and skin cancer detection and treatment. He is passionate about preventative health and equipping patients with knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their wellbeing.
He joined Castlegate Family Practice & Women’s Health Clinic to support a practice model that empowers both men and women with timely, inclusive, and expert care — without compromise.
